Can anyone recommend a hair hi-lightener that is in the form of a gel?

and not a powder or lotion. Each time I have used any form of hair bleach on my hair, my hair has broken off and I’m in need of a bleach gel that is good for the hair!

Well “Poopsy”, if you want a complete bleach–as in total stripping, then, I know of no kind that comes in a gel form. Myself, I use Clairol 7th Stage for the bleaching part, and after that I use a toner.

Now, if you’re just looking for something that will highlight–L’Oreal makes a very good gel type of these highlighters and toners. Also, if you happen to have a professional beauty supply store close by, stop in and ask them about the various professional types of these highlighters. Yes, they also sell to the public, you don’t have to be a licensed hairdresser.
